Full Body Interaction Learning Environments

Research in cognitive science - showing the embodied nature of cognition - suggests that, from a theoretic perspective, embodied interaction has the potential to support learning. Within this field promising possibilities can be found in learning environments based on full-body interaction, thanks to their ability of involving users at different levels such as sensorimotor experience, social aspects and attitudinal factors. Starting from these assumptions, the project focuses on defining, analyzing and validating design strategies for full-body interaction in order to inform and support the design of effective learning environments.
